Torrance · 10 min from Del Amo Fashion Center
Torrance drivers bring in every kind of South Bay mess: Del Amo parking dust, Wilson Park grass, beach sand from the Riviera side, and commuter film from Hawthorne, Sepulveda, and Crenshaw. Turn west on Torrance Blvd for exterior washes from $10, full-service from $25, and detail appointments when the inside or paint needs more than a quick reset.
Pull in sandy. Roll out sparkling.
A Torrance car can look fine from ten feet away and still need a real reset. That is the city in a nutshell. One day the car is sitting at Del Amo. The next day it is parked under trees near Wilson Park, cutting across Sepulveda, or carrying towels back from the beach side of town.
That mix matters because the right wash is not always the biggest wash. Sometimes the outside only needs road film knocked down. Sometimes the inside is the problem because the mats, door sills, and cargo area did all the work.
Coming from Del Amo, Hawthorne, or Sepulveda? If the car sat in open parking or picked up lower-door grime from errands, an exterior wash is usually enough. Step up when the wheels, mirrors, and back glass look tired even after a quick rinse.
Coming from Wilson Park, Columbia Park, or school fields? Check the floor mats first. Grass, snack crumbs, cleat dirt, stroller wheels, and sports gear usually make the inside the job. That is Beach Bum territory.
Coming from Torrance Beach, the Riviera side, or PCH? Sand hides where you step in and where bags slide across the cargo lip. If the outside has coastal haze but the inside is clean, stay exterior. If the mats are gritty, go full-service before the sand spreads.
Park outside near Old Torrance or a work lot? Do not wait for the car to look awful. A smaller wash on time beats a bigger cleanup after dust, bird mess, and morning moisture have had a few days to sit.
If the paint still feels rough after washing, the smell keeps coming back, or sand is packed into the seat rails, skip another routine wash and look at the detail menu.
We’re on the south side of Torrance Blvd, just east of PCH, between Catalina and the Redondo Pier turn-off. Regular washes do not need an appointment. Detailing is scheduled by phone. If you are already pointed west on Torrance Blvd, this is the easy stop before the car carries one more errand’s worth of mess home.
Getting here from Torrance
From central Torrance, head west on Torrance Blvd - straight through, no freeway, about 10 minutes. From Del Amo Fashion Center, take Hawthorne Blvd south to Torrance Blvd, then go west toward Redondo Beach. From Old Torrance, stay on Torrance Blvd west. From South Torrance or Walteria, PCH is usually the cleanest approach; turn toward Torrance Blvd and look for us on the south side at 617 Torrance Blvd, just east of PCH.

Torrance questions, answered
Redondo Car Wash is a practical 10-minute drive west from Del Amo. Stay simple with a $10 Jet Wash when the outside is dusty, or choose Beach Bum from $25 when the mats, cup holders, and inside glass need attention too.
If the mess is on the mats, door sills, cargo lip, or seat tracks, start with a full-service wash. Beach Bum covers the normal vacuum-and-wipe reset; Big Kahuna is the step up when you want the top full-service finish.
Plan on 8 to 14 minutes from most central and west Torrance starting points. Torrance Blvd runs directly to our front gate at 617 Torrance Blvd, so you do not need to get on the freeway.
Yes. Hollywood Riviera customers usually come up PCH, and South Torrance drivers often use PCH or Torrance Blvd depending on traffic. We regularly see cars from Walteria, Southwood, Old Torrance, Del Amo, and the Civic Center area.
No appointment is needed for regular exterior or full-service washes. Detail packages are scheduled by phone so the crew can quote timing and make sure the right detail bay is available.
Beach Bum full-service starts at $25 and includes exterior wash, lambs-cloth pass, interior vacuum and wipe, spot-free rinse, and soft-cloth hand dry. Big Kahuna is $37 for the top full-service wash. Trucks, vans, and SUVs add a small upcharge.
